Meet us at the Villa Rundle Amphitheatre for a discussion on the stigmas that LGBTI+ people face when living on a small island community. This discussion will bring together various NGOs and stakeholders in an open conversation about the taboos of society, the prevalent issues that LGBTI+ people face, and the challenges of living as a marginalized person. Facilitated by journalist, TV host, and media producer Mark Laurence Zammit, this discussion will tackle various elements of LGBTI+ realities and will draw in experiences from different demographics to reach a deeper understanding of how stigmas are experienced and shared. There will also be a Q and A section of the discussion, where audience members can provide feedback, share their thoughts or ask questions. This event is open to the public. Refreshments will be available for purchase and participants can pick up a FREE copy of LGBTI+Gozo’s publication Ilhna minn Ghawdex, Gozo Voices.
